Melmac (also known as Melmac Penis Envy) is a highly celebrated, mutated variant of the standard Psilocybe cubensis Penis Envy (PE) mushroom strain. [1, 2] Origins and History

Original Cultivator: Isolated by the famous geneticist John Workman (founder of Sporeworks) during the early 2010s.
Homage to the 1970s: Named “Melmac” after the fictional home planet of the TV alien ALF.
The “Original” PE: Workman bred this strain to preserve the classic, aggressive physical traits of the original Penis Envy genetics before it underwent heavy commercial hybridization and stabilization. [1, 2] Physical Appearance

Contorted Stems: Stalks are exceptionally thick, dense, and heavily contorted or gnarly.
Wavy Caps: Caps are deeply wrinkled, split at the edges, and range from pale yellow to deep caramel brown.
Sporeless Nature: It drops very few spores, making it hard to reproduce without cloning tissue.
Blue Bruising: Shows deep, rapid blue bruising when touched, indicating highly concentrated tryptamines.
Potency and Effects
Extreme Potency: Widely considered significantly stronger than average Psilocybe cubensis varieties like Golden Teacher.
High Tryptamine Content: Packed with elevated levels of psilocybin, psilocin, and baeocystin.
